Pink sheep – the symbol of country love

Posted on Thursday 15 May 2008

I stumbled across a pink sheep today. No, really I did.

Probably not in the usual place you’d expect to find a sheep – like grazing in a luscious green field or basking in the sunshine on a hillside. Nope, this pink sheep was on the graphics banner of a really interesting blog called Rural Diaries.

You should go over there and have a look. It’s really rather cute. And if you do stop by, make sure you set some time aside to read the Rural Diaries as there are some great articles on the site.

And if you’re a pink singleton looking for your very own Mr Right to shower you in pink gifts and spoil you rotten on a regular basis with fabulous pink presents, you should take a peek at these great dating tips. Whether you’re single and on the look-out or in the early stages of a relationship and wondering whether to ‘ditch or snog’ your latest suitor, this dating blog has the answers!

As I’m happily married, I’m off with a can of pink spray paint to turn a few of the sheep in our neighbouring field a bright shade of fuchsia. I’m sure the farmer won’t mind…

Pink - such a great colour even the cricketers are using it!

Posted on Monday 21 April 2008

Well we always knew that pink was the most fabulous colour in the world, which is why we’re on a mission to seek out the best pink presents and gifts for our new shop.

But it seems as if others are cottoning on to the wonders of pinkness as today a pink cricket ball was used in an English cricket match.

How fabulous!

Pink tank!

Posted on Thursday 27 March 2008

I’ve just been admiring a pink tank on this evening’s episode of Ashes to Ashes.  Trouble is, I’m not sure it would fit in my garage and I’m quite sure there’d be as much use for it in my local climate as there is for my beautiful pink wellies!

I would quite like a pink car, though.  A nice old Morris Minor would fit nicely in my garage.  But would it be the 1100 or the Traveller?  Hmmm, decisions decisions…

I’m thrilled skinny to report that the construction of the pinkest shop on the web is now officially underway! The domain is live and we have a holding page with some basic information about our fabulous pink shopping experience. And behind the scenes there’s a flurry of activity as we work on the look (pink, of course) and feel for the site and develop the structure to house all our terrific pink gifts and gadgets!

A pink wellies Easter

Posted on Saturday 22 March 2008

I love my pink wellies. They are bright as you like with huge yellow flowers on them. But I don’t get to wear them very often as there’s just not much call for them in these parts. Except for today…it’s snowing!

OK so it’s not quite snow angel material yet, but the odd flake settling on patio outside was all the excuse I needed to dig out my thick pink socks and don my favourite pink wellies!

They’ll probably be back in the cupboard tomorrow because as sure as Easter eggs are chocolatey, the snow will have melted and it will just be cold and grey, but at least they’ll have had their annual outing.

And you can’t say fairer than that.

Pink passion

Posted on Thursday 20 March 2008

Well after a few teething problems (that’s the polite way of putting it), the Irresistibly Pink blog is now fully up and running.

I think the gods were conspiring against me to get the finer tweaks done and dusted, though. If trying to fiddle with the pinkness dial and translate the German text wasn’t enough (I learnt French at school!), BT then came and threw a dirty great spanner in the works by cutting off our broadband while they fiddled with the phone box further down the road.

And I got my pink slippers wet when I nipped out to see what was happening and how long it would take. Grrrr.

Anyway, broadband restored and English translations complete, I am now happy with the level of pinkness on the blog. It just about satisfies my pink passion!

And then there was pinkness!

Posted on Wednesday 19 March 2008

Pink things. They make me warm and squishy inside - just like a freshly toasted marshmallow.

I might be the only one to feel like a marshmallow (a pink one, of course) but I am certainly not the only one to go slightly bonkers and a little bit giddy at the sight of anything pink!

Imagine a place dedicated to the beauty and pure scrumminess of pinkness. A place where anything and everything is pink. Imagine indeed.

And imagine I did.

Enter Irresistibly Pink: a product of my vivid and rose-tinted imagination; a solution to all those pink lovers’ shopping dreams and an answer to the perennial question, “What on earth can I get my girlfriend for her birthday?”

Irresistibly Pink: an online shop crammed full of pink gifts, pink presents, pink gadgets, pink jewellery, pink accessories - in fact, more pink things than you could shake a stick at!

Who could resist?

Coming soon to a web browser near you…
